Activites
The Bali Eco concept remains that of being eco-friendly. To us, this means caring about the triple bottom line: For a business to be sustainable, it must strive to balance its duty of care to people and the environment with profit. Steve set up a company that set off on the right path to be environmental friendly, cultural friendly and indigenous friendly, a unique phenomenon amongst Bali's rampant tourism growth. He built a success for the right reasons (please click and read the About Us section). We continue to work hard to give our guests real value-for-money experiences and provide opportunities to experience the "Real Bali" without the hassle, hustle and bustle. We want our guests to discover more than the superficial beauty of our island home and to have an adventure, but to also learn through firsthand experience.

Mt. Batur Trekking (Sunrise and Swim)

There is a reason the sunrise trek to the summit of Mt.Batur (1717 meters) is so popular. Besides experiencing the awesome beauty of an active volcano, trekking in the cool, early morning darkness obscures the difficulty of the challenging hike (torches, hiking sticks and wet weather gear supplied, if needed). The dark also helps to focus walkers to do the one to 2-hour ascent making it feel less difficult. The bonus is arriving in time to witness a glorious sunrise and experience the stunning morning views of the surrounding crater and lake.

Inclusions: private return transfer, light breakfast, coffee break at sunrise summit, hot spring entrance fee, brunch, experienced guide, government tax and service charge.

Trekking along the banks of a pristine spring-fed river, gurgling below, we pass through lush jungle area, a variety of fruit trees (local plantations) and pass numerous hidden temples and hermit sanctuaries (truly a photographers dream), whilst enjoying the sounds and sights of nature at its best.
